Strike action coming up

As part of the ongoing national industrial action about pay, lecturers' union EIS have announced further strike days that will be taking place at Edinburgh College on:

Wednesday 17th April
Thursday 25th April
Monday 29th April

The College has been advising students that classes will not go ahead on these days unless you are told otherwise by your lecturer. The best thing to do is speak directly to your lecturers to see if they are teaching that day.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Student Life Survey. Overall, over 600 Edinburgh College Students had their say on what's impacting them the most, from housing, to finances, to a sense of belonging at Edinburgh College.

We're delighted to announce that the three students who have won a £50 voucher as part of the prize draw are:

  • Madelaine who studies 3D Design at Granton
  • Cesar who studies Sound Production at Milton Road
  • Abby who studies Art & Design at Granton

We're now going through all of the data from the survey and will be taking the final report to conversations with our Board of Trustees, the College's Senior Management Team and the Board of Management.

Thanks for making your voices heard!
