How has strike action impacted you?

Strike action is still ongoing at Colleges across Scotland, and the next lecturer strike day at Edinburgh College is on Monday 29th April. Campuses will still be open, and your lecturer should be able to advise you if your class is going ahead.

We know that the ongoing strike action, and 'action short of strike action', which means results are not being entered on to College marking systems, has been impacting students in lots of different ways. We want to hear more about your experience of this recent period of industrial action, so we can continue to help and support students in any way during this challenging time.

Please share how you have been impacted by filling out this short form.

Do you have your voter ID sorted for General Elections?

There is a General Election coming up this year, and for the first time, voters are going to have to present official ID in order to be allowed to vote.

To help make sure students have the relevant ID, the National Union of Students have teamed up with CitizenCard to provide free Photo ID for students (usually £18).

Photo ID is useful for lots of things besides voting, including applying for jobs, rental agreements and for proof of age.

Follow the link below and use the discount code "NUS" to get your ID for free (usually £18).
