Student Life Survey results
Student Life Survey - The Results

Over the course of February, March and April 2024, we asked students to respond to our annual Student Life Survey. We're really grateful to everyone who filled out the survey and helped us great insight into the issues students are facing right now, from housing, to travel and finances.

National Walking Month for Mental Health

One of the best things we can do for our mental health and wellbeing is to be active – it's a natural mood booster! Our bodies release feel-good hormones when we're active that can also reduce anxiety and stress and help us sleep better. Any amount of physical activity is good for you so do not worry if you need to start off easy. The most important thing is to do something you enjoy as you're more likely to keep doing it.

Join ‘Big Walks’ led by our Active Campus Coordinator, Xsara Murray. Explore designated walking routes at each campus, enjoy fresh air, local scenery and meet new people.

  • Thursday 16th May Milton Road
  • Thursday 23th May Midlothian
  • Thursday 30th May Granton

Walks start at 12 noon and last about 30 minutes.
