Now the clocks have changed, it's more likely going to be dark on your way to and from college. Going home in the dark can be a bit tricky, which makes it especially important to look out for eachother on the road - whether you're cycling or driving.
To help with this, we have a supply of free bike lights, as well as high visibility and reflective items in our offices on all campuses. Not only will these help you be seen by other road users, but they will also prevent you from breaking the law by not having lights and refelctors on your bike whilst cycling in the dark. So if you cycle to college, please pop into our office at any time to collect these resources so you can stay safe and be seen.
We will also be teaming up with SWECO on campuses later in the month to provide similar resources, so come along to chat and get some freebies at the following times:
- Monday 19th November: 7:30-9:30am (Sighthill campus)
- Monday 26th November: 7:30-9:30am (Granton campus)
- Tuesday 27th November: 7:30-9:30am (Milton Road campus)
