EC Students' Association is run by students, for students, and every March we ask you to elect your representatives for the next academic year.

If you are passionate about advocating for others and want to make student life better at Edinburgh College, all while developing your skills and working in a supportive team, then you might be interested in running to be our next Student President, Vice President Activities or Vice President Welfare. The positions are 35 hours a week, from 1st July 2024 - 30th June 2025. The salary is £21,840 (additional pay award pending).

Nominations are closing on Monday 4th March at 11am, so make sure you get yours submitted by then if you want to be our next President or Vice President!

International Women's Day - Friday 8th March

Every year on 8th March, EC Students' Association joins with our vibrant student community to celebrate International Women's Day. Join us in Granton Hub from 11am-2pm, where we'll be running some relaxed crafting activities and playing an epic playlist of empowering music by female artists.

The theme this year is #InspireInclusivity and we hope everyone will get involved. If you need a boost right now, check out the poem that one of our talented students has written especially for the day below.
