🌟Summer at Edinburgh College! – A Message from Sukinder 🌟
Sukinder Landa, Vice President Welfare

Hi everyone,

Whether you’re a brand new student just starting your journey or a returning student ready for another exciting year – welcome to Edinburgh College! I’m Sukinder, your Vice President of Welfare, and I’m here to support you through every step of your college experience.

Starting or continuing college can feel like a big transition – new faces, new classes, and maybe even a new city. But I want you to know that you’re not alone. My role is all about making sure you feel supported, included, and empowered during your time here.

From mental health and wellbeing to housing, financial support, and personal safety, I’m here to advocate for the things that matter most to your student life. Alongside the amazing team at the Students’ Association, we run events, campaigns, and initiatives designed to help you feel connected, confident, and cared for.

🧠 Interested in volunteering? Please email me on Sukinder@ecsa.scot  I would love to speak to you some more :)

💬 Need someone to talk to? Come visit our Freshers Stalls or send me a message anytime.

🧥 Got something on your mind? Whether it’s a big issue or a small question – I’m here for you.

This year, we’re focusing on key themes like ‘Connect’, ‘Support’, and ‘Include’, making sure that every student feels part of our vibrant and welcoming college community. Expect to see wellbeing campaigns, free food and clothing drives, safe spaces, and chances to get involved in shaping your student experience.

Be mindful to recharge your batteries this summer

Growth, connection, and maybe even a few surprises along the way. You’ve got this – and we’ve got your back.

Take care,

VP Welfare, Edinburgh College Students’ Association
