Full-Time Officers
EC Students’ Association is run by a team of three elected students, our Full-Time Officers.

Our Full-Time Officers are students at Edinburgh College who have taken time out of their studies to represent you. Each March, we hold college-wide elections where students have their say on who should represent them. Whoever gets elected then works full time, in a paid role, from 1st July – 30th June, representing students throughout the year and improving their experience at Edinburgh College. Each of the three Full-Time Officers have a remit they work on.

  • The President focuses on education, learning and teaching, and represents students at the College's Board of Management
  • The Vice President Activities works toward designing and promoting events and activities to enrich student life
  • The Vice President Welfare works with the College to ensure good student mental health, and leads on wellbeing events

Each of the Full-Time Officers also have the freedom to come up with projects that they believe would make the student experience at college the best it can be.
