We provide students with advice and support to help you save money and improve your wellbeing through your travel.
The college has lots of information on transport and travel to each of the campuses.
Free bus travel
In Scotland, people under 22 are eligible for free bus travel! If you are over 60 years old or have a disability you may also be eligible for free bus travel. Learn more here.
How do EC Students get to college?
In our most recent Student Life Survey, we asked students how they get to and from College campuses.
We are so impressed by the quantity of students taking public transport or active travel to college! We want to make these modes of transport even more accessible to our students which is why this year, we are having events and activities focussed on sustainable transport.
Sustainable Travel Events at College
We have multiple bike repair events and bike accessory giveaways scheduled for this academic year to remove some of the barriers to cycling that some students experience. Keep an eye on this page, as well as our events schedule, and social media to find out when these events are coming up! If you are every short of a bike light or D-lock, just get in touch and we'll see if we can help!
We also have Lothian Buses attending all of our Welcome Season stalls to answer any questions about bus travel that you may need to ask.
