What are your top three priorities for students?
  1. Stronger Student Voice and Clear Communication

  2. Improving Learning Experience, Timetabling, and Flexibility

  3. Addressing Cost of Living and Financial Pressure

How will your priorities improve the student experience at Edinburgh College?

1. Stronger Student Voice and Clear Communication

When students feel heard, they feel valued.
By strengthening Class Rep systems and improving communication between students and management, I ensure that:

  • Student feedback leads to visible action.
  • Decisions are clearly explained.
  • Changes are communicated early and transparently.

This will foster trust between students and the College, enhance engagement, and cultivate a stronger sense of community.

2. Improving Learning Experience, Timetabling, and Flexibility

A well-organised timetable reduces stress and improves performance.
By advocating for:

  • Fewer last-minute changes
  • Greater flexibility for working students
  • Improved access to study spaces and learning resources

Students will be able to plan their time more effectively, balance their responsibilities, and focus more on learning rather than logistics. This means better attendance, higher achievement, and less unnecessary stress.

3. Addressing Cost of Living and Financial Pressure

The cost of living in Edinburgh affects many students.
By raising financial concerns at the Board level and promoting available support, I will help:

  • Increase awareness of hardship funds.
  • Encourage practical solutions to reduce student costs.
  • Ensure financial challenges are taken seriously in decision-making.

When financial pressure is reduced, students can concentrate on their studies and well-being.

Why should students vote for you?

Students should vote for me because I will be a strong, approachable, and proactive voice for everyone at Edinburgh College. I will listen carefully, communicate clearly, and turn your feedback into real action. With experience in project management and problem-solving, I know how to deliver results. I will advocate for more stable timetables, flexible learning, and better access to financial support.

My goal is simple — to make student life fairer, more organised, and more supportive for everyone.
