We're excited to announce our annual Big Student Thank You 2026! This is an initiative which gives students the chance to say 'thank you' to those college lecturers, LDTs and support staff who have gone the extra mile to help them over the course of this academic year. There are awards in the following categories:

• Best Lecturer in the Institute of Sustainable Technology, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Innovation
• Best Lecturer in the Centre of Care, Health and Wellbeing
• Best Lecturer in the Academy of Creative Industries, Culture and Languages
• Outstanding Lecturer of the Year
• Helping Hand Award for Support Staff

Adam, our President said: "I would encourage as many students as possible to nominate a staff member in our Big Student Thank You Awards. We know that our colleagues across the College can make a huge difference to the lives of their students, so this is a chance for students to show gratitude for everything their lecturers and support staff have done for them."

You can nominate more than one person, and don't forget that the nominations will be shared publicly on our website and with the individuals. Make sure you submit your nomination by Wednesday 27th May!
