We’re back from the February break with a big reminder: Elections Nominations close this Friday, 27th February at 10am. If you've got the passion to represent students at Edinburgh College and lead our Students’ Association, now is the time to submit your nomination!
Here’s a reminder of the different responsibilities of the Full-Time Officer roles.
- President – focuses on education, learning and teaching, and represents students at the College’s Board of Management
- Vice President Activities – focuses on designing and promoting events and activities to enrich student life
- Vice President Welfare – works with the College to ensure good student mental health, and leads on wellbeing events
Please note that these are all FULL-TIME roles (you will have to pause your studies) and you will be paid a salary of £26,622 for 35 hours per week. You don’t need to have lots of experience to put yourself forward, but what you do need is passion for improving things for students. The roles all begin on 1st July 2026 and end on 30th June 2027.
