Samaritans

Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who've been there before with those struggling now.

Change Mental Health

Change Mental Health provide transformational support for people ensuring that everyone has access to the support they need, when they need it and in a way which works best for them.
They seek to change society by changing attitudes, fighting stigma and influencing government to ensure a better quality of life for those affected by mental illness.
 

Andy's Man Club

Andy's Man Club are real, non judgmental, talking groups for men. Their aim is to halve the number of suicides in men under 45.

Rock Trust

The Rock Trust works with young people between the ages of 16- 25 who are affected by homelessness.

The Chalmers

Lothian Sexual and Reproductive Health Service provides a range of services at the Chalmers Centre in Edinburgh (2A Chalmers Street) and at local clinics across the Lothian area.

Crew

Crew exists to reduce harm, challenge perceptions and help people make positive choices about their use of cannabis, stimulant and other drugs and sexual health by providing non-judgmental, credible and up to date information and support.

Young Scot

Young Scot is the national youth information charity, with discounts in shops and travel for 12 - 26 year olds.

C-Card

C:card is a free condom service in Edinburgh & the Lothians. It's quick and easy to get free condoms through the c:card Network.

The Junction is a safe, friendly, confidential centre which offers lots of health-related services, education and support for young people in Leith and North East Edinburgh aged 12-21.

Penumbra Mental Health, provides dedicated services for people with mild to serious and enduring mental ill health.

Breathing Space

Breathing Space are a free, confidential, phone service for anyone in Scotland over the age of 16 experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.

Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre

Students across the Edinburgh College Community who have experienced sexual violence at any time of their life will be offered long-term, trauma-informed, one-to-one support. This support will be offered in blocks of six sessions, with students having access to up to 18 individual sessions if needed.

Any students on the College support waiting list will be given the opportunity to access the normal Rape Crisis services for short-term support while they wait. This is in the form of the Here and Now service for over 18s or the STAR Project for under 18s.

Shakti's Womens Aid

Shakti is here to help ethnic minority (BME) women, children and young people who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse. This charity originally offered support provisions in Edinburgh but have expanded to Fife, Falkirk and Dundee.
