Samaritans

Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who've been there before with those struggling now.

TOTUM is a UK-based student discount card and app. TOTUM membership opens up a world of brilliant student discounts, offers and vouchers on your everyday essentials, must-have gear and luxury items.

Love Food Hate Waste

Love Food Hate Waste aims to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste and help you take action. It shows that by doing some easy practical everyday things in the home we can all waste less food, which will ultimately benefit our purses and the environment too.

Rock Trust

The Rock Trust works with young people between the ages of 16- 25 who are affected by homelessness.

Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre

Students across the Edinburgh College Community who have experienced sexual violence at any time of their life will be offered long-term, trauma-informed, one-to-one support. This support will be offered in blocks of six sessions, with students having access to up to 18 individual sessions if needed.

Any students on the College support waiting list will be given the opportunity to access the normal Rape Crisis services for short-term support while they wait. This is in the form of the Here and Now service for over 18s or the STAR Project for under 18s.

If you would like to refer yourself to this service, please email studentsurvivors@ercc.scot or call 0131 556 9437, call/text 07966 067 301 and state you are an Edinburgh College student. Please note staff cannot refer students.

Edinburgh Trams

Young Scot

Young Scot is the national youth information charity, with discounts in shops and travel for 12 - 26 year olds.

Shakti's Womens Aid

Shakti is here to help ethnic minority (BME) women, children and young people who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse. This charity originally offered support provisions in Edinburgh but have expanded to Fife, Falkirk and Dundee.

NHS 24

NHS 24 is a free phone service to provide urgent health advice out of hours, when your GP Practice or Dentist is closed.
