This week (1st - 5th  October) is Climate Week in Scotland, and organisations across the country are organising events to promote their work in tackling climate change. Edinburgh College Students' Association is also taking part, and we will be running events to help students travel to college in a sustainable way and to educate themselves about climate change more broadly. This is part of our Go Green project, which is running for the next two years and is funded by the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund.

Throughout the week will be running travel advice stalls for students who want advice or support with their travel. We will also be hosting short film screenings, where we will show clips from environmental documentaries and discuss them. These will include films about Antarctic ice melts, industrial mining, and the effectiveness of public protest. There will be two screenings, so people on either lunch break can come along.

On Tuesday 2nd October we will be partnering with another CCF project - Greening Gorebridge - to give out a free breakfast to everybody who travels in by bike, on foot, or by public transport.
