We're delighted to let you know that we're now a member of Liftshare.com, which means you can now easily find people to share a car with to get to college! Simply go to https://edinburghcollege.liftshare.com, where you can register for free as a student or staff member. Once registered, you can search for other members whob are travelling in the same direction, and contact them to arrange a lift-share.
Members of Lifshare save an average of £1100 per year when they share a lift every day, so this is a greaty way to save some money while reducing your environmental impact! You could chat away to reduce the stress of commuting, get some extra work done for assignments, or simply have some company while you travel. Not only that, but if enough people get involved and start to share cars to get to college, there will be less competition for parking spaces - it really is a win-win.
To sweeten the deal even more, Liftshare are currently running a prize draw for the chance to win an £100 John Lewis voucher. All you have to do is sign up to Liftshare and form a Liftsharing team between the 12th and 26th May (as well as being a UK resident who is 18 or over).
