After a long, hard week of campaigning, we're very pleased to announce the results of the 2020 ECSA Full-time Officer Elections!

Firstly, a thanks to the over a thousand students who took the time to vote - your choice has given the Students' Association a new direction for the coming year, and we couldn't do it without you.

Secondly, our thanks to all the candidates who put their heart and soul into campaigning over this last week - even if you weren't successful, we hope it's been a positive experience for you.

And now, down to business...

President

Jordan Wyllie

Jordan Wyllie is on the Preparation for Study in Social Science course at the Milton Road Campus. His priorities this year will be: improving the quality of education and resources available, introducing optional life skills workshops, better mental health support, and improving procedures for students facing exceptional circumstances.

 

Vice-President Activities

Victoria Browning

Victoria Browning is on the HND Creative Industries: Television course at Sighthill Campus. Her goals for the year are to increase the visibility of societies within Edinburgh College, increase the impact of student feedback, organise regular fundraisers, to help societies and groups that want to work with the wider community, and to increase international, ethnic and mature students’ participation and awareness.

 

Vice-President Welfare

Rose Dodgson

Rose Dodgson is studying HNC Working With Communities at the Sighthill Campus. His priorities for the year are: improving mental health provision in the college, improve the facilities and student support that students can currently access, organising regular drop-in surgeries, to hold regular “awareness” events promoting different organizations or college facilities regarding student welfare, and to ensure that all students have a wonderful learning experience at college and enjoy college life!
