As more of us are learning from home, we are slowly realizing that it's not all just fun and games. Online communication can feel stifled or forced and virtual classes don't offer much opportunity to just be yourself. An online class full of people can feel so emotionally empty. Physical separation has a huge impact on our motivation, confidence and productivity but, just because we can't be in the same place doesn't mean we can't be together.
Our social spaces are looking a little different this year. However, Edinburgh College Students Association are delighted to be launching Chat & That!
Sign up for the Chat & That Teams site
Chat & That is an informal online breakout space hosted on Microsoft Teams where you can relax and recharge with students from all over the college, regardless of course or campus constraints in a safe and accessible manner. Open to ALL Edinburgh College students. Find us on Teams, available on any device that you use Teams (mobile, desktop etc)
Come along during Lunch and tell us what you're eating or get some meal inspiration. Pop in in the evening to play a game (online), chat about what you're watching on Netflix or just keep the chat open in the background while you chill or study. It's completely up to you.
Grab your snacks of choice (optional) and join your VP of Activities Victoria on Tuesday from 12 noon and/or Thursday from 4pm! Banter is mandatory!
