We are saddened by the death of Her Majesty the Queen and extend our condolences to the Royal Family at this time.
The Queen’s coffin is due to be taken to Edinburgh and updates on this, including road closures are available on the City of Edinburgh Council website.
The country is now be in a period of mourning until her state funeral, which will take place in London in around 10 days’ time. You can follow updates on plans of this or pass on your personal condolences to the Royal Family on their website.
Edinburgh College has formally passed on their condolences and has placed flags at Milton Rd campus at half mast for this period.
The College continues to operate as normal and any national plans that may impact this will be communicated by the College’s Communications team in due course via e-mail.
Please respect those who are in mourning at this time and, as ever, just be kind 
Please note that the College and ECSA offices wil be closed on Monday the 19th of September for the Queen's funeral.
No buildings or offices will be open and no classes will be held.
The College and ECSA offices will re-open on Tuesday the 20th September.
