Here at EC Students' Association, we are now recruiting for three new External Trustees to join our Charity Board. This is a very exciting time to be joining us, as it follows a period of change and a refresh of our Constitution. The External Trustees we appoint will form part of an entirely new Board, and will help with the Students' Association’s strategic development, including shaping and delivering our new strategic plan.

The Board, like everything we do at EC Students’ Association, is led by students, for students. The EC Students’ Association Board of Trustees is Chaired by the President, an elected full-time student officer, and five of the eight seats on the Board are held by students. This includes a mixture of Full-Time Officers, Student Trustees, and 3 External Trustees.

The Board ordinarily meets on a quarterly basis to review performance, ensure good governance, and that we're operating within the law. Our Trustees bring their own perspectives and expertise to the table, with external Trustees offering real-world experience to help guide the charity and inform decision-making.
