It has just been announced by the College in an email to all students that the lecturers' union EIS-FELA has paused the planned local strike action due to take place at our College next week (week commencing Monday 9th October).

This means all classes will go ahead next week. All students should attend their classes on campus.

The College have said that "the pausing of the strike action is a result of productive discussions which have taken place between College management and the union branch. We are confident that a resolution will be formally agreed soon which will put an end to the ongoing local industrial action. We will provide an update on this as soon as we are able to."

You can find the latest information on the college website and we suggest that you keep checking your College emails for further updates. You can find our summary of strike action, and give feedback as to how the strikes have impacted you, here.

Please note: Members of the Unison support staff union may be taking part in national strike action on Thursday 12th October. Classes will be unaffected by this action and campuses will remain open as normal.
