Granton and Sighthill campuses
Tuesday 23rd January
08:30 – 13:15

The Screening and Early Detection team from NHS Lothian are visiting Granton and Sighthill campuses, Tuesday 23rd January, to promote the health screening programmes available, in particular, highlighting cervical screening as it coincides with “Cervical Screening Week”.

They will be promoting the importance of screening and raising awareness of the programmes available and to be aware of possible symptoms of early disease.

In particular, they are keen to engage with those entitled to cervical screening in the future to be informed at an early stage as the 25-29 age group are not attending in the same numbers as those in the older age groups.  The team are also keen to hear from people in general why this might be and to better understand the barriers that exist.

Free and open to all -staff and students - so drop by the stall on the day to have a chat with one of the team.
