The 12th to the 16th of May 2025 is Mental Health Awareness Week.
Following on from our Wellbeing Fairs at Granton and Sighthill campuses earlier this year, EC Students' Association will be holding mental health check-in stalls at Milton Rd and Midlothian Campuses as follows:
Wednesday 14th of May | 11am to 2pm | Milton Rd Reception Area
Thursday 15th of May | 11am to 2pm | Midlothian Reception Area
We'll be "checking in" with students and asking them to rate their current mental health as a pulse-check of how students are feeling. Alongside this, we will have a variety of activities to engage with, including our "Positivitree", where we ask students to write down what they do to help improve their mental health and hang it from our Positivitree to share with others.
Our Full-Time Officers and staff team will be there to chat to and we will be giving away chamomile tea to everyone who comes to see us. Chamomile tea is known for its calming and soothing properties, often used to aid sleep, relieve stress & anxiety, and support digestion.
Come see us at one of our stalls and help us help each other's mental health.
