The 7th - 11th March is Food Waste Action Week! We are raising awareness and showing you how to minimise your food waste, and save money!

Food waste is a huge yet avoidable contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change, which is extremley harmful to the planet AND costs a fortune ๐Ÿ’ฐ
๐ŸŒOne third of all food that is produced is wasted worldwide, let's help stop that๐ŸŒ

So, what can you do to help? ๐Ÿ’š

  • Store your food correctly
  • Only buy what you need - meal plan, write a shopping list
  • Freeze what you don't eat
  • Utilise leftovers to make some new exciting meals
  • Make the most of your cupboard space
  • Check your fridge temperature - it should be at least 5 degrees celcius
  • Use the Students' Association's community fridges
  • Get involved with our Go Green Food Waste stall happening all this week!
