ECSA is working with Edinburgh College's Ccommunity Garden Coordinator to plan the creation of a new green space at Milton Road campus.

There is a grassy field at Milton Road campus that Edinburgh College wishes to plan trees on. This will create more and better green spaces at the campus for students, staff, and local residents and community groups to use. It will also help the environment and contribute to lowering the college's carbon emissons, as trees absorb carbon dioxide.

As this is a significant area of land, we want to carefully plan the layout of the space. As part of this process, we are consulting on this design. This survey is your chance, as members of the Edinburgh College community, to shape the use of this space. An orchard? Outdoor teaching spaces? Wildflower meadows? Student art displays? Let us know what is important to you and you would like to see - we will try to include your ideas and priorities in the design.

Please fill out this short survey to let us know your ideas. If you are feeling really creative, there are also blank plans of the area that you can download and use to create your own designs to send us.

Take me to the survey!

Once designs are finalised, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in the planting process too.
