ECSA is proud to announch the first of hopefully many Climate Cafes happening across campuses!
Our first event will be on Tuesday 5th October at Milton Road campus from 12-1pm. If the weather provides it will be held in the lovely community garden (accessed by going past the overspill car park area and into the gate with the sheds and poly-tunnel within), or if it's raining it will be in room M1-25.
Bring your lunch along, and tea and coffee will be provided as you get the fantastic opportunity to meet and talk to other people who are interested in sustainability and the environment.
Come along and participate in a lively group discussion about what eco anxiety is, who the real problem is when it comes to the climate crisis, what is being done about it, and what you can do! In the run up to World Mental Health Day it's as important as ever to be taking care of your mental health. So if you ever worry about climate change or stress about your future after reading the news or watching another ecological disaster on TV, this is the place to come and talk about it and discuss with people who know exactly how you feel. It's also a great way to meet like-minded staff and students who are passionate about the planet and what is being done to it.
Join us, have food and a chat, and leave worrying a little bit less about climate change after talking about your anxieities surrounding it.
