At Edinburgh College, we are part of a much wider community of neighbours including residents, businesses and schools.
We ask that you play your part in our neighbourhood and be respectful to people & places in and around the College campuses.
- Take your litter, leftover food or drinks with you, or use the bins provided to keep the place clean and tidy
- Be aware of your noise levels when entering or leaving campuses - someone might be sleeping, or be scared of shouting!
- Help those around you and be mindful of physical spaces - allow residents to get on and off buses, cross roads, and walk along pavements without being blocked by crowds
- Be friendly and say hello - we all share these spaces, so let's make everyone feel welcome!
- Above all, be kind and respectful to everyone who uses our campuses or surrounding neighbourhoods
If you witness any behaviour or actions that you feel are not in the spirit of the College Community, please report it via the normal channels, or contact the Students' Associaiton if you don't know who best to speak to:
- Campus security (based at receptions to each campus)
- Reporting hate or misogyny
